Wetaskiwin City Council typically meets on the second and fourth Monday of each month (except for July & August, where they meet only once on the 3rd Monday) at 4:00 pm in Council Chambers, located on the third floor of Wetaskiwin City Hall (4705 - 50 Avenue).
*All City Council meetings will be held virtually through online meetings until provincial public health orders on gathering limits are lifted.*
Meeting dates and associated agendas are posted on the home page of the City’s official website the Friday before each meeting. All Council meetings are open to the public.
Presenting to City Council
If you would like to present to Wetaskiwin City Council, you can do one of two things:
Option 1: Open Mic
Five (5) minutes to speak
Speakers can register to speak just before current Council meeting begins
Topic of presentation cannot already be on the regular Council agenda
Option 2: Formal Presentation
Ten (10) minutes to speak
Speakers must register at least 14 days in advance of next Council meeting
Presentation will be included in the published Council meeting agenda
