Wetaskiwin is approximately 52 km (or a 35 minute drive) south of Edmonton. Downtown Wetaskiwin to downtown Edmonton is approximately 70 km.

6. How far from Red Deer is Wetaskiwin?

Wetaskiwin is 93 km (or just under a one hour drive) north of Red Deer via the Queen Elizabeth II Highway.

8. Is there an off-leash dog park in Wetaskiwin?

Yes, the off-leash Bark Park is located on the northwest corner of By-The-Lake Park with vehicle access from 64 Street and a grass trail access linking from the existing asphalt trail that surrounds the lake.

9. Where is By-the-Lake Park?

Wetaskiwin's By-the-Lake Park is located at 6128 56 Avenue (1 km west of the historic water tower on 56 Avenue). It is open from 6 a.m. until 10 p.m. daily.

The Sani-dump is located at 5707 51 Street. You are also able to fill your water tank at this location using a coin operated water truck fill system.

17. Where can I fill my RV with fresh water?

There is a coin operated refill station located at 5707 51 Street. The RV Sani-dump is also located at this address.

18. Where is the hospital?

The Wetaskiwin Hospital and Care Centre is located at 6910 47 Street.

19. Where can I find Wetaskiwin's Motor Vehicle Services?

20. Does Wetaskiwin have a farmer's market?

Yes, we do! The Wetaskiwin Farmer's Market is held every Wednesday at the Wetaskiwin Agricultural Grounds (on Highway 13, just east of the hospital) from 3–7 p.m.
