Heritage Archives

Wetaskiwin's archives are managed by the Wetaskiwin District Heritage Museum Centre, which houses photographs, newspapers, organizational and business records, family histories, and more to ensure that Wetaskiwin's legacy lives on.

The archives hold many collections, such as that of photographer Carl Walin, whose widely respected and award-winning local photographs range in date from 1919 to 1956; the Stan Reynolds collection containing pre-1900 original negatives; and the Daisy Lucas collection of our pioneers, businesses they dealt with, and the organizations to which they belonged.

To find out more about the archives please contact the Wetaskiwin District Heritage Museum Centre at 780.352.0227 or wdhm@persona.ca. Visit their website at wetaskiwinmuseum.com.
