Plan an Event

Would you like to host a public event on City property? We can help! Our Special Events Policy ensures you get the support you need to plan a safe and successful community event. All events on City-owned property must have an approved Special Event Application before they can take place.

Have an event idea? Great! Your next step is to complete a Special Event Application and submit it for review.

Before applying, contact the Recreation Department at 780.361.4445 to confirm the facility you’d like to book is available on your preferred date.

Vendors 

If your event will include food or merchandise vendors, you must also complete a Vendor Licence Application.

Submit your Application

Once your Special Event Application is complete, you can submit it by:

  • Drop it off at the Manluk Centre: Wetaskiwin Regional Aquatics & Fitness
    4514 50 Avenue, Wetaskiwin.
  • Email it to the Recreation Department at recreation@wetaskiwin.ca.
