Have Your Say: Help Shape Wetaskiwin’s Future Growth
The City of Wetaskiwin is planning for future development in the northwest Special Study Area—and we want your input!
This area spans approximately 130 hectares (320 acres) and will be guided by a new Area Structure Plan (ASP) to support thoughtful, sustainable growth. Your feedback will help shape key decisions around land use, transportation, infrastructure, environmental protection, and community amenities.
We’re now in Phase 2 of engagement, building on what we heard earlier this year. Initial feedback highlighted the importance of:
- Walkability and connectivity
- Multi-use trails and recreation
- Environmental protection
- Thoughtful, lower-density mixed-use development
The survey takes about 15 minutes to complete and is open until May 27 at 11:59 p.m.
