Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) Wetaskiwin is seeking community-minded residents to serve on its Governing Board of Directors. This is an opportunity to help guide programs and services that strengthen the social well-being of individuals and families throughout our community.
Crews will move onto Tuesday's residential waste collection route tonight, Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 7 p.m. They will move through residential areas until they are complete.
As crews move through neighbourhoods, temporary No Parking signs will be posted. Please move your vehicles off the street when you see signage. Crews will not return to areas where parts of the street cannot be cleaned due to parked vehicles.

The City of Wetaskiwin has issued a business licence to Energyvise Ltd. Representatives from Energyvise Ltd. are going door-to-door in Wetaskiwin to discuss the Clean Energy Improvement Program (CEIP). Legitimate representatives of Energyvise Ltd. can produce a business licence upon request and will not ask for money up front. Please continue to exercise caution when responding to advertisements or sales representatives.
The City of Wetaskiwin is not affiliated with Energyvise Ltd. We want to remind the community that no one from the City or Alberta Municipalities is going door-to-door as part of the Clean Energy Improvement Program or the Solar Installation Grant Program, both of which are now fully subscribed and have a waiting list.
The City of Wetaskiwin is aware of reports of individuals going door-to-door posing as representatives of the Clean Energy Improvement Program (CEIP) or the Solar Installation Grant Program. We would like to remind the community that nobody from the City or Alberta Municipalities is going door-to-door as part of these programs.
