Public Hearing: Evergreen Area Structure Plan
CITY OF WETASKIWIN – NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
to ADOPT EVERGREEN AREA STRUCTURE PLAN AND MAKE SUPPORTING AMENDMENTS TO THE MUNICIPAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN

You are invited to provide input on Bylaw 2113-26 and Bylaw 2112-26.
Bylaw 2113-26 is proposed to adopt the Evergreen Area Structure Plan, formerly known as Special Study Area. Bylaw 2112-26 is proposed to make necessary amendments to the Municipal Development Plan needed to support the adoption of the Evergreen Area Structure Plan.
Both bylaws received first reading at the July 28, 2026, Regular Council meeting. Both bylaws can be reviewed in the July 28, 2026, agenda package, which is available at wetaskiwin.civicweb.net/portal/.
Please contact Planning and Development using the information provided below if you wish to:
- Register to speak to Council at the public hearing.
- Submit written comments to be presented to Council on your behalf during the public hearing.
- Review a paper copy of the proposed bylaws.
- Ask questions regarding the proposed bylaws.
Registrations to speak and written comments must be received no later than 4 p.m. on Friday, August 7, 2026. They can be delivered in person or via email to Planning and Development at:
