September 30: City Facility Closures
The following City facilities will be closed for National Truth and Reconciliation Day (Wednesday, September 30):
- Wetaskiwin City Hall
- Operations Facility
- Wetaskiwin Sanitary Landfill
- Wetaskiwin Regional Airport Office (the Airport will remain functional)
The following facilities remain open:
- Manluk Centre: Wetaskiwin Regional Aquatics & Fitness is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- The Wetaskiwin Recycling Centre remains open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Garbage and organics pickup will continue as normally scheduled; if your regular pickup day is Wednesday, your waste will be collected on Wednesday. Please bring your cart(s) to the curb by 7 a.m.
