Council Approves New Meeting Schedule for Committee of the Whole and Regular Council Meetings

City Council approved an amendment to the Council Procedural Bylaw during the June 23, Regular Council Meeting that separates the Committee of the Whole meeting from Regular Council Meetings. Committee of the Whole will now take place on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 9 a.m., with the Regular Council Meeting taking place on the same day at 4 p.m.  

The Committee of the Whole Meeting includes open microphone, delegations, Council Action Task List,  correspondence, and more. 

Committee of the Whole meetings are held at Wetaskiwin City Hall (4705 50 Avenue) in the Committee Room on the second floor. Committee of the Whole meetings are open to the public, and a recording may be posted to the City’s Official YouTube Channel.
