Tickets

So you've got yourself a ticket...

Whether you've recently received a citation or need information on how to handle a traffic ticket, you've come to the right place. We’re here to help guide you through the process and ensure you have the right information to address your ticket efficiently and effectively. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out — our goal is to make managing your ticket as simple as possible.

Cash, cheque, debit, and credit card are all accepted methods of payment. There will be an additional 2.4 per cent processing fee for credit card payments. Payment can be made:

  • In person: Wetaskiwin City Hall (4705 50 Avenue).
  • Registered mail (cheque only): Wetaskiwin City Hall, Box 6210, Wetaskiwin AB, T9A 2E9.
  • Note: if payment is received within seven (7) days of the date issued, the fine is reduced 50 per cent.

Payment can be made:

  • In person:
    • Court of King’s Bench of Alberta (Wetaskiwin Courthouse, 4605 51 Street).
    • Wetaskiwin Registries (Wetaskiwin Mall, Unit 208, 3725 56 Street).
  • Online: Fine payment at Alberta.ca.

You have the option to contest you ticket once a provincial ticket has been issued. A court date will be scheduled and you may appear to contest it at that time.
