The Council Highlights from the July 14 Committee of the Whole and Regular City Council meetings are now available.

The agendas for the next City Council meetings are now available. Committee of the Whole and the Regular City Council meeting will take place on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at Wetaskiwin City Hall at 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., respectively.
City Council approved an amendment to the Council Procedural Bylaw during the June 23, Regular Council Meeting that separates the Committee of the Whole meeting from Regular Council Meetings. Committee of the Whole will now take place on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 9 a.m., with the Regular Council Meeting taking place on the same day at 4 p.m.

Various City Facilities will be closed on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, for Canada Day. Garbage and organics pickup will continue as normally scheduled; if your regular pickup day is Wednesday, your waste will be collected on Wednesday. Please place your cart(s) at the curb by 7 a.m.
