The next Regular Council Meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. in Council Chambers at Wetaskiwin City Hall. The agenda package and livestream are available at wetaskiwin.civicweb.net/portal/. 

Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) Wetaskiwin is seeking community-minded residents to serve on its Governing Board of Directors. This is an opportunity to help guide programs and services that strengthen the social well-being of individuals and families throughout our community.

Rehabilitation work is set to begin on 40 Avenue from 56 Street to the CPKC Rail Crossing on Thursday, June 18, 2026, resulting in temporary traffic disruptions.   

These highlights give the community a brief overview of the most significant decisions made during the recent Wetaskiwin City Council meeting.

Mayor Branco has proclaimed today (June 5, 2026) BGC Club Day in recognition of the impact of the important work that the BGC does in the community and BGCs across Canada. View the proclamation.
