62 Street
A full road reconstruction of 62 Street was completed. The City received no petitions from property owners along 62 Street, therefore, City Council moved forward with the local improvement by passing Local Improvement Bylaw 1989-21.
49 Avenue
A full road reconstruction of 49 Avenue was completed. The City received no petitions from property owners along 49 Avenue, therefore, City Council moved forward with the local improvement by passing Local Improvement Bylaw 1971-20.
56 Avenue
The City received a sufficient petition against the proposed local improvement project for 56 Avenue between 47 Street and Garden Meadows Drive. As such, City Council voted to proceed with only the critical utility repairs required along 56 Avenue. These repairs have been completed, along with asphalt patching.
51 Avenue
The City received a petition from property owners along 51 Avenue, however, the petition was deemed insufficient as less than two-thirds of property owners along 51 Avenue had signed it. As such, City Council decided to move forward with a complete local improvement project for 51 Avenue by passing Local Improvement Bylaw 1908-18.
